Mission Statement New Harmony Ministries, Inc. is a non-denominational, non-profit house dedicated to empowering men in crisis by extending the love of Christ. We believe in offering hope to the hopeless and in changing lives. Relationships will be formed with men in transition; where we provide friendship and walk with them through their process of healing. New Harmony Ministries, Inc. is at least an 8 month and up to a one year transitional living program for men re-entering society from incarceration, with co-occurring substance abuse and mild behavioral health issues and/or who may be homeless. Services include Housing, Bible Study, Step Study, Training of Life Skills, Home Management, Parenting, Community Involvement, Employment Preparation and Placement with aftercare planning. The program is based on Bible principles and Christ programmed guidance, along with a proven program of daily organization. New Harmony Ministries, Inc. will always partner with courts, law enforcement, local churches, community agencies/groups for support and resources to aid in the ministry. However, we believe that only Jesus Christ has the power to completely heal and restore broken people. The staff at New Harmony Ministries, Inc. is dedicated to helping men with these issues to develop self-sufficient lives of wholeness and hope, while reaching them with genuine love. New Harmony Ministries, Inc. addresses the physical, mental, spiritual and life skills needs of men in recovery.
